5 steps To Master MIG Welding Fast

5 Steps To Master MIG Welding Fast

By Garrett Strong

Did you know that if you MIG weld a project without first sequencing your tack welds, you will badly warp the metal, causing you to scrap the whole project and start over? Think about that! If you spent $1,000 on materials for a project, and you later discover it’s warped beyond repair, you will FEEL anger and frustration beyond anything you can imagine. I’ve experienced this and seen it happen first hand.

Did you know that when you lay a MIG weld, it’s common to get “cold” starts that don’t penetrate the metal? According to Millerwelds.com, “Lack of fusion can occur when the voltage or wire feed speed is set too low, or when the operator’s travel speed is too fast… …it is prone to lack of fusion at the start of a weld until enough energy is put into the weld.” That means welds that you thought were solid could easily be cracked, resulting in your entire project being ruined.

Did you know that these mistakes are easily avoidable? You can actually sequence your tack welds in a special way that TOTALLY prevents metal warpage. Further, you can completely eliminate the possibility of “cold” welds that rob weld strength by simply pausing for a count of 2 seconds when you start your weld. That means no more cracked welds or poor penetration.

These techniques have proven to help men and women of all ages Master MIG welding fast, without having to suffer through endless weeks of frustration. If you’re a man or woman between the ages of 5 and 105, you can learn MIG welding fast.

Over eight years ago I learned to MIG weld from some of the greatest teachers in the world on this subject. I was grateful for what they taught me, but still not satisfied with my journey. So, I continued on and waded through stacks of books and videos on the subject. I had the great fortune of looking “over the shoulder” of some of the greatest MIG welders on the planet. What I learned still SHOCKS me to this day.

I’ve taught this MIG welding system that cuts your learning curve in half to over 5,000 beginners. Men and women like you who were skeptical about whether they could do it. I’ve taught these 5 steps to beginners who want to learn so they can AVOID all the mistakes I made, and to ultimately MIG weld with confidence, have fun, and even make a second income.

With all that on the table, I have to warn you: What you are about to hear is going to defy everything you’ve seen or heard about learning to MIG weld. Much of the advice on the subject uses outdated and un-safe knowledge. This “old” advice will teach you to MIG weld, however, it will fall short at teaching you everything you MUST know to safely learn MIG welding.

These 5 Steps Reveal The Things You Absolutely MUST AVOID If You Want To Master MIG Welding, While Cutting Your Learning Curve In Half.

Here’s a dose of truth for you, so you can stop buying into the lies. Deal? Let’s get going!

Step 1: Forget Welding Safety

Of course, that’s not to say welding safety isn’t important. It’s obvious that you WILL need a welding mask, gloves, long sleeves, leather boots (and a welding hat if you’re welding overhead).

However, your main safety should focus on making solid welds that hold strong. Imagine if you welded a trailer and you were pulling it on the highway at 70 m.p.h. Then, out of nowhere you hit a large pot hole, and BAM. The trailer suddenly jolts, cracking the welds. The next thing you know your trailer is now an out of control missile waiting to destroy any vehicle unlucky enough to be in your immediate area.

Beginners often make the mistake of welding too cold, and the results are all too often what I just described. Do you really want to be that person who puts others in danger, or creates projects that have to be scrapped, all because your welds are weak?

Step 2: Stop Focusing On Perfect Welds

Many welders in the online forums will try to convince you that your welds need to look perfect, or you shouldn’t try at all. This is complete hog wash. Wouldn’t you like to Master the fundamentals of MIG welding first so you can make great looking welds later on, or would you rather listen to these ego maniacs and just give up because they said your welds aren’t perfect?

The truth is, your welds aren’t going to be perfect. Besides, the purpose of MIG welding is first and foremost to fuse the base metals together, not to be perfect.

There’s a smart way to “PERFECT” your MIG welds… we’ll cover that in a minute. And, what’s great is that you will cut your learning curve in halfwhen you do this.

Step 3: Stop Thinking You Can’t Afford To Get Started

I’ve heard this excuse time and again from men and women of all ages. They think it’s expensive to get started MIG welding. The fact is you can buy a MIG welder for under $100. Literally anyone can get started MIG welding with very little money.

And, the benefits of learning FAR outweigh not doing it. You can easily earn a second income from home by learning MIG welding, and AVOID paying high prices at welding shops just to make simple repairs.

Listen: The welding machines today are so affordable, there’s no excuse not to do it. Wouldn’t you like to look back in 5 years and know that you didn’t let $100 keep you from your dream of learning to MIG weld? Plus, it’s a fun challenge to Master MIG welding, and I’m about to show you just how to do that.

Avoid Welding Schools At All Costs

Step 4: Avoid Welding Schools At All Costs

Welding schools can be great if you don’t mind paying $20,000 or more to attend. They cram the classrooms so full of students that you’re literally fighting over the limited amount of machines available. And, if you simply wanted to go practice outside of your classrooms’ scheduled time, you’re out of luck because another class of students will be fighting over the machines like hungry vultures on a carcass.

Even worse is the fact that you’re paying a ridiculous amount of money to attend, yet you don’t get to keep any of the welding machines. Does this seem like a good deal to you? Wouldn’t you rather spend a tiny fraction of that on your own MIG welder that will allow you to MIG weld for years to come?

Practice In 30 Minute Intervals

Step 5: Practice In 30 Minute Intervals

If you practice your MIG welds in intervals, rather than practicing for hours at a time, your muscle memory will develop much faster. It takes repetition, on a regular basis to create good MIG welding habits. This is known as neuroplasticity, and according to Cogmed.com, “The brain has been shown to reorganize itself and change in response to consistent motor movements.”

You want to cut your learning curve in half, right?

Well, the answer lies in learning with micro-steps. The worst MIG welds are always made by beginners who rush their welds and never learn the secrets to making welds that penetrate deep into the metal, and look great, too.

Over 5 years ago I developed a revolutionary new MIG welding training system that incorporates my Growth Curve Principle. This is a ground-breaking approach to learning MIG welding that lays the essential foundations before you move on to more advanced strategies. And it’s so FAST and EFFECTIVE, men and women of all ages can easily use it with success.

I realize that most MIG welding beginners are completely new to the world of welding, so I teach you at an elementary level that you can easily grasp. I don’t talk down to my students like many of the “so-called” welding experts. I lay it out in a simple, step-by-step formula.

WARNING: THIS IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!

I’ll be completely honest with you. This unique video training system is NOT for everyone.

  • If you’re expecting me to certify you to weld, this isn’t for you.
  • If you plan to just “wing” it with learning to MIG weld, by all means don’t let me stop you. But if that’s your mindset then this definitely isn’t for you.
  • And if you’re what I call a “Magical” thinker who expects to get great results without doing some practice on your part, then please leave this page.

The truth is, it takes time to build the muscle memory required to Master MIG welding. So, it’s not some magic solution. Yet, if your goal is to SAFELY, QUICKLY, and EASILY learn MIG welding, then you’re a perfect fit. You’re welcome to go watch a Youtube video that may or may not get you the results you desire and deserve, however, if you want a step-by-step solution that has helped over 5,138 beginners, then read on… If you’re ok with what I’ve said so far, then…

Here’s What To Do Next

If you think you’re ready to experience my 90 Minute MIG Mastery training system using my Growth Curve Principle then click on the “next page” button below and you’ll be taken to the next page.
